Someday Never Comes

It has been a few weeks now since Dad’s birthday past.  CJ and I were talking that day and he said something that reminded me of this song.  The entire entire itself does not ring true to what I feel right now, but the important part of the song applies. 

Someday never comes.  You may not get tomorrow so make it count today.  I say this and I find myself working when most have all but gone to sleep by now.  One of the things that Dad left with me is the drive to press on, but I also have it in the back of my mind that I may not get tomorrow so make something count each day.

I never thought that someday would be so damn soon.
